I would not be so quickly dismissed as junk ..... Once had a 85 hp Evinrude that was a program that fell to the dock, could plunge the tide twice a day, but was exposed at low tide, after months that the owner gave me the boat and the engine if I wanted to sheet. The day after we moved, I took it into the shop and Kim have a mechanic check it out ...... To my surprise was when I was in the shop a few hours later returned, the engine is not running happily on the test tank ....... seemed that the air was trapped under the bridge and the housing bottom Alun, not hurt, and of course the gear oil is full, which lasted for several years only a little cleaning. I wish you the same luck!

If you immersed never tried to get the engine running, and now its junk.
Every time you take a speedboat, the first thing you should, after leaving the water as the wheel turns to do and drown the oil mist house. If you let it sit, especially in salt water, the show is over.
It all depends on how long the engine was allowed before action. When two stroke can away to fill the holes / enclosure with WD-40 or kerosene
Rotate and remove (plug out) to the water. When it 4 times then the only way to ensure that you do not have major components (bearings, cams, oil pump. Snores pressure valve), otherwise it is completely clean, remove all oilways the motor, bearings, oil pump, etc. and the engine rebuild.
I have addressed many of the applications for review and stripped the engine and have been under water for more than 24 hours, and there was no action is taken immediately after running the engine started to rust. Although I know that many drivers to have life as manager but will soon show signs of bearing failure.
The salt water can have all involved a level where I had an anode, where the size of Delaware.
At least, everything, drainage, filling, pull the plug (s) outside and a large quantity of ether, crank and see what happens.
If the crank is garbage.
If it does not start, is in the trash.
When you start, but still very tight, you think of the trash and then.
When you begin to not stay in place, is in the trash.
If you half-run, trade and get a new one!
Remained seated the whole time?
If so, then it is an anchor.
You must promptly by speed boat when it sank. If these measures are not taken immediately, and rust are overcome.
sorry
many engines are not made of steel today. It will probably be after an extensive cleaning and minor oil and grease put into the aisles. Engine so happy.
I'm brand in this case, water in the machine and had to leave the water since last summer, that's insane!
Years of saving submerged vessels
had wel last year after he soaked in clean gasoline should be allowed to rest until she knows what you need or take
Please rinse and "Ran And more than 3 days have passed since that removes the salt water, then there is no help to> replace the parts and the time, 'If for any destiny day is numbered> from the upper crankshaft bearing is then oxidized Sease a> No, not really worth the time and $, but calling>

If you did not do anything last summer to start the engine is now shot.
